Above is a fused glass pendant. It is made by layering glass and firing it up to 1600° in a "beehive" kiln.

Wow that's really beautiful...I love it!!

I used to live in the DC/Northern VA area...quite a while ago at this point. I sang with the Washington Opera, and did my share of dinner theatre in that area (which, in my opinion, is pergatory for actors)

Jaded-Thanks for the compliment. Washington Opera is very impressive.

ERL-I'm actually still pretty new to jewelry making and more recently the fused glass, so I have mostly just sold to friends and family. If you'd like to see more, let me know and I can e-mail a link.
